About the event

Since 1993, the Greek & the Serbian communities in Sydney meet each year in September to show their appreciation of each other’s community. This event has always been an initiative of the Serbian Orthodox Church & School Community of “Saint Archdeacon Stefan” at Rooty Hill with the initial event’s purpose being to thank Greece, Cyprus and the Greek Diaspora for their invaluable assistance towards the Serbian people in the former Yugoslavia during the tragic civil war in the early and mid 90’s. Nowadays, in keeping with the initial purpose, this event has evolved as a continued commitment of the friendship of the two Balkan Orthodox Christian nations and all Orthodox nations & communities in Sydney.

The event starts with the Divine Liturgy at 9 am.

The program starts at 12:30 pm.
